It’s very rare in life that you get a day where everything seems to work in your favor. Yesterday, if you are a fan of NY sports, was that day.
The Knicks have strung together 12 straight wins, but Sunday’s victory may have been their most impressive to date. Boomer said the Knicks are back to playing the ball they played earlier this season. His partner says the win over the Thunder cements the Knickerbockers as a legit title contender. In fact, Craig believes his beloved Knicks are in the back of the Heat’s minds.
Boomer cautions him to slow his role, stating that Melo and the gang will have to go through a tough few opponents before they face the defending champs.
It’s been a rocky start for the Bombers this year, which is not surprising considering how many key players are out nursing injuries. It’s hard to say a game in April is a must-win, but certainly the Yankees did not want to get swept right out of the Motor City. Though you had to figure that was very possible with Justin Verlander toeing the rubber, easily one of the best pitchers in the sport. However the Yanks, as they often do, rose to the occasion.
The Mets looked like they were about to drop two out of three to the Marlins. That was, however, until Marlon Byrd stepped to the plate and singled in the winning run. Byrd is truly the word.
